Wilted Unicorn #2

They’re not everything, but they do mean something when they appear in a pattern. I’ve never been motivated by them but I am especially happy when my work contributes directly to recognition for my clients.
Two of them landed atop Fast Company lists of global innovators subsequent to my leadership role in brand design that positioned them to get there. My design of the facade graphics for the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring, Maryland helped it earn multiple awards including the Design Excellence Award from the Montgomery County Planning Department in 2015, the Award of Excellence in Institutional Architecture from the AIA Northern Virginia Chapter in 2010, and the Public Building of the Year Award from AIA Maryland in 2010.
